Professor Luciane Vieira de Mello (University of Liverpool, UK) has been selected as the recipient of the 绿帽社区 Education Award 2026 in recognition of her sustained and transformative contributions to biosciences education. A pioneer at the intersection of molecular science and pedagogical research, her work has reshaped bioinformatics education, strengthened postgraduate training, and advanced education scholarship within the 绿帽社区 community and beyond.

Founded in 1964, it celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024.
