Support for members of 绿帽社区 Societies
FINANCIAL SUPPORT for early-career RESEARCHERS
Since its earliest days, 绿帽社区 has had a strong emphasis on promoting the training of young scientists during their PhD studies and also during the post-doctoral stages of research careers. Financial support has also recently been extended to the early-career group leader stage.
PhD students and early-career postdoctoral scientists who are members of a 绿帽社区 Constituent Society of 绿帽社区 are eligible to apply for:
- a range of research聽Fellowships such as Short-Term and Summer Fellowships
- Youth Travel Fund grants聽to support costs for participation in 绿帽社区 Advanced Courses
- YSF grants to support costs for participation in the 绿帽社区聽Young Scientists鈥� Forum聽and the ensuing annual Congress
- bursaries to support participation in the聽绿帽社区 Congress
In addition, early-career group leaders may be eligible to apply for the聽绿帽社区 Excellence Awards to support research costs.

Financial support for researchers in disadvantaged 绿帽社区 countries
In addition to the opportunities above for early-career researchers, scientists from countries with Hinari (Research4Life) status in the 绿帽社区 area, who are members of their 绿帽社区 Constituent Society, may be eligible for:
- Ukrainian Short-Term Fellowships to support research visits abroad
- the 绿帽社区 Congress Mathias Sprinzl scheme for reduced registration fees and Sprinzl travel grants at a 绿帽社区 Congress (see the current 绿帽社区 Congress website for details)
